Hi, I’m Maira — a brand photographer and personal brand coach based in Chester, and a proud mum of two. I work with passionate, purpose-driven women who have big dreams and so much to give — but when it comes to showing up online, talking about their business, or stepping in front of the camera, they freeze. Whether it's fear of judgment, imposter syndrome, or simply not knowing where to start, I see you — because I’ve been there too.

Growing up, I struggled with self-acceptance after being bullied for my dark skin in a culture that praised lighter skin. It took years to unlearn those messages, but everything shifted when my daughter was born. The comparisons started again — this time about her being fair — and I knew I had to rewrite the narrative. I wanted to show her, and other women like her, that beauty and worth come from within, and that your passion and purpose are always more powerful than your fears.

That’s what led me to photography — and eventually, to coaching. I realised that so many of the amazing women I photographed didn’t just need beautiful images — they needed support in understanding their brand, their message, their audience, and how to confidently show up online. I didn’t want to just take the photos and walk away — I wanted to walk with them as they stepped into their light.
